Winslow Homer an Frederic Church were not the only American artists drawn to the tropics. Beautiful
light, gorgeous landscape: hardly surprising that inspiration followed.
Church and Homer and their visits to Florida, Bermuda and the Caribbean found favor with
the Connecticut based artists of the American Impressionist Movement.
