They have over 61,000 pieces to choose from which span well over 6,000 years of art history.
Working with Neutelings Riedijk Architects, the Cincinnati Art Museum has began its work
on a multi-phase renewal and expansion projects. Like many museums the available gallery space shrinks
as the collection grows.
“The Cincinnati Art Museum is a tremendous cultural and educational resource for the region,
and its collection needs to be made even more accessible to the community,” said museum director
Aaron Betsky. “By displaying great objects, we help inspire a deeper connection with the shared
cultural heritage that unites all people of all backgrounds and all times.”
