Deja Vu!
June's edition is late. Wait a minute didn't this happen once before February last year? At that time your editor had unexpected
emergency surgery in the last week of January. For most of 2007 I battled cancer with chemo and other treatment options.
Unfortunately towards the end of last year I discovered the cancer was back and it was time to go through this all over again. In
our sister publication, I have written more of this continuing battle.
As I wrote more than a year ago I plan to win this battle. That is a goal I am doing everything I possibly can to achieve. Editing and
publishing International Art Treasures and
The Toronto Tribune have made the battle easier. It is far too easy to focus 7-24 on
the unpleasantness, the pain, the side effects, the limitations. Or I can choose to spend my time on something much
more enjoyable and I did.
As I recover from the surgery the magazines will be a little smaller in size as I regain my strength and my energy but the one
thing I do not need to improve is my joie de vivre.
