Landscapes were the artist's favored subjects often including scenes of
daily life. Nicholson enjoyed travels and visited Europe, the Middle East and
Northern Africa finding inspiration wherever he went.

The George Washington Nicholson retrospective exhibition is a collaboration between
The Noyes Museum of Art and the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Over fifty
pieces will be on display.
