Cuban ArtFor the first time International Art Treasures reviews a beautiful hotel that is located in Cuba. International Art Treasures is a Toronto based publication. Canadians are not restricted by the Cuban embargo as are our neighbors to the south. Cuba is a beautiful country something Canadians, South Americans and Europeans have long known. It is a holiday setting with beautiful beaches, fine dining and fun. By reviewing a Cuban resort, International Art Treasures is not commenting on the state of politics in Cuba, one that just underwent a significant change with Fidel Castro's retirement. The embargo hurts the people of Cuba, something well known to tourists. Some of whom bring items readily available at home such as children's over-the-counter medicine, lotions, shampoo and so on that are not readily available in the Caribbean island nation. It has been a concern, should we overlook a country, because her politics do not sit well with us. Obviously the answer is no. |
