Architect Frank Gehry is the subject of a current exhibition at Toronto's Art Gallery of Ontario. But is the creation of a building art? In our opinion the answer is an emphatic yes.

The AGO will be transformed through the Gehry's talents adding an additional cachet to it's already impressive art collection. The alterations will bring additional visitors to the AGO one of the many reasons why Gehry was selected to work his magic.

When one travels to Basel Switzerland among the many tours documented at the official tourism booths is one specific to architects. With a map and some tram routes it is simple to visit the Botta, Pei, Piano and numerous other architects' designs who have added to the beautification of the Swiss city.

Art travel and tourism is a highly competitive business and in the case of Basel competing with not only European cities but also the museums of Geneva, Zurich and Lucerne in their own country any additional edge can make the difference in a traveler's choice.
