Canada Votes

Thanks to a non-confidence vote in the House of Commons Canada is facing a Federal Election in January of 2006.

While IATWM will not endorse any political party we do encourage anyone who has the privilege to vote to exercise their democratic rights.

In prior issues we have invited candidates in the US Federal and Toronto Municipal elections to provide their art policy to us which we always ran unedited in fairness. Canadian law limits the length of a federal campaign, to approximately 6 weeks in time which doesn't necessarily fit with our publication dates from the calling of the election to voting day.

IATWM invited each national federal party to provide their arts policy to us for inclusion in this edition. That article is here.

We wish to thank those parties that choose to participate and provide their arts policy to us that we ran unedited as is our custom for platforms and policies during election campaigns.
