Inter splicing text and cropped photographic images is the trademark of New Jersey native Barbara Kruger. The sense one
has is of advertising tools with passion the medium becomes the message.
Contemporary American sculptor Louise Bourgeois is best described as an abstract artist whose work is ever evolving from her early
years to present day. Her first sculptures focused primarily
on carved wood but her technique constantly evolves with a
seeming preoccupation between the lack of relationship
between individuals.
Each is a fitting inclusion in the exhibit that reflects the
American influence on modern art. These pieces will be
alongside works from forty artists such as Warhol, Calder
and de Kooning.
