The Winner is Cleveland
In an earlier editor's note IATWM lamented the lack of a continental city of culture honored in the way our European neighbors
do each year. We decided to hold a contest inviting tourism boards / CVB of any North American city to enter explaining why their
city should be honored as IATWM's North American City of Culture 2006.
The winning city would be featured in our September 2005 edition.
The Cleveland article,
celebrating the city's art and culture is
here.
IATWM wants to thank every city that entered and told us about themselves and their art events planned for the coming year. We
were delighted with the response and plan to hold the contest again next year.
We selected Cleveland based on their entry that went into great depth about the city, its rich cultural heritage and the multitude
of art events that make it a place to visit in 2006!
Congratulations to Cleveland!
