Art 36 Basel and the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition are both juried art shows providing a location for contemporary artists to promote their visionary efforts. Those are just two of an infinite number of exhibitions that take place along all four corners of the globe. The arrangements to set up each one is a task of Herculean proportions for the organizers long before the art arrives on the premises. IATWM celebrates art and artists. Past. Present. Contemporary. That does overlook all of the individuals who remain in the background, not part of the creative process, but a necessary element for the artists to be afforded the opportunity to display to as wide an audience as possible. The symbiotic relationship between the two separate entities enable the viewing public to enjoy the overall experience. Kudos to the artists and especially to the organizing teams! |
