Picasso, Van Gogh and Rembrandt highlight a selection from one of America's
foremost art collections that is currently on view in Reno.
The Wynn Collection belongs to Steve and Elaine Wynn of Las Vegas. They
kindly have loaned some of their masterpieces to the Nevada Museum of Art for this exciting exhibit
before it will move to its permanent home in Wynn Las Vegas.
"We are delighted and honored to work with Mr. Wynn in bringing this collection
to the Nevada Museum of Art. We are pleased to provide northern Nevada audiences
the opportunity to view the works in this astounding collection," says Kathie
Bartlett, Chairman, NMA Board of Trustees.
The exhibit crosses many art periods from Dutch Masters such as Rembrandt and
Jan Brueghel the Elder to Impressionists with the inclusion of Claude Monet and Camille Pissarro. American talents aren't overlooked. Both John Singer Sargent and Andy
Warhol form part of the exhibit.
