Is eleven lines for the credit overkill? Obviously not in the opinion of
IATWM. Often times in the media the photographer gets a credit
if she or he is lucky and that is completely the publisher's editorial content
decision.
We prefer to provide as much information as possible. We start with the title and artist and move on to the materials used in the
production and the dimensions. The photography while good cannot give
justice to the imposing size of some of these works. The Lion of Amenhotep
III is massive in size and weight and hardly covered in our 350 pixel width
image.
Our goal is to provide as much information about the digital images that
we select for inclusion within our pages. History, size and artist are among
the pieces of data we wish to convey along with our articles.
