exciting auction in Zurich. The private collection of Marguerite
Iseli-Mooser and the contents of her shop Arts et Décors will be available
through the Galerie Koller Auction House of Switzerland.

With many fine pieces to select certainly important are the four early Italian
panel paintings that include The Annunciation by Lorenzo Monaco. This is
the highlight of the auction of Old Master and 19th Century painting that will
be held on Friday 26th March 2004.
A native of Siena it was in Florence that Lorenzo Monaco spent much of his
life. He was a monk with the Camaldolese monastery of Saint Maria degli Angeli.
The artist enrolled in the painter's guild under his given name Piero di
Giovanni. He was known as a fresco painter who favored strong colors and a
graceful line in his painting, usually in the Gothic style.

Marguerite Iseli-Mooser a leader in the Swiss Antique world and whose shop was established in 1959.
It was known for it's French 18th century decor. In celebration
of her birthday the new octogenarian gave the honor to Galerie Koller to auction
the 400 item inventory.
This auction contains works from such craftsmen as
Jean-Baptiste Claude Sené, (master from 1745), Jean Boucault (master from
1728), Pierre Pioniez (master from 1765), Léonard Boudin not to mention Jacob,
Tilliard and Denizot.
A pair of Louis XV bergères, signed by Jean Boucault, Louis XVI marquise
sofas, a chest of drawers by Pierre Roussel, paintings by Manguin, Luce and
Valtat are just a few of the many treasures to be found in the auction scheduled
for Thursday March 25, 2004.

be held during this splendid week.
