Hamilton: Bermuda
Winslow Homer
Bermuda National Gallery at City Hall, Hamilton
until January 4, 2004
Beautiful Bermuda, situated off the East Coast of the United States, has
been a haven for visitors for centuries. Among her favorite guests was Winslow
Homer who was inspired to capture the brilliant landscapes, three
of which are together and on display at the Bermuda National Gallery at
City Hall in Hamilton.
The works are being loaned from the Bermuda-based Masterworks
Foundation and form a small part of the Masterworks Collection that has
over 1,000 works of art that were inspired by Bermuda and her rich cultural
heritage.
