San Diego Museum of Art's European Curator, Steve Kern,
is the driving force behind this new exhibition seeking to explore the
artistic vocabularies of those working in Europe during the first half of
the 20th Century. The works are rarely displayed given their fragility and
this is a rare opportunity to examine the techniques and styles used
during the first half of the last century.
Artists include Paul Klee, Franz Marc, Emil Nolde, Paul
Signac and Marc Chagall among other artists.

The Darwin D. Martin House was designed by the incomparable Frank Lloyd
Wright at the turn of the 20th century. The exhibit features the art glass
windows, doors and skylights that Wright created including the Tree of
Life window.
